Gina Huffman
Sr VP, Associate Managing Partner
Ms. Gina Huffman brings 20 plus years of experience in higher education administration,
student advising, data analysis, retention programming, and student success. Ms. Huffman also
brings a depth of experience in strategic planning, organizational leadership, community
engagement, and advancing the missions of organizations working to create positive social and
economic impact.
Currently, she supports more than 300 undergraduate students pursuing STEM, pre-law, pre-
med, and business-related academic and career pathways. Over a four-year graduation period,
students in her STEM portfolio achieved a 96% graduation rate.
Earlier in her career, as an academic advisor and STEM Administrator, Ms. Huffman developed
programming for students pursuing doctoral degrees in STEM fields. She directed summer
research programming for faculty and students and assisted students in successfully gaining
admission to advanced degree programs.
Her higher education experience includes a decade in Law School Admissions, where she
developed innovative recruitment strategies, prepared hundreds of students for the law school
admissions process, and worked to expand access to legal education for students from
communities historically underrepresented in the legal profession.
Gina began her career in higher education managing summer programs and facilitating
workshops for military veterans and high school students participating in federally funded
programs. Her work has extended through educational programs, two-year community colleges,
four-year public, graduate programs and private institutions with a wide range of student
populations.
Throughout these roles, Ms. Huffman has consistently applied student-centered best practices
to help students pursue and achieve their academic and career aspirations, while preparing
them to meet the evolving needs of the workforce.
Gina earned her undergraduate degree in Business from Ursuline College, a Master of Public
Administration from Cleveland State University’s Maxine Levin College of Urban Affairs, and a
graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management.
Her career and community service involvements include and is not limited to serving on a
strategic master plan committee, promoting public safety initiatives, contributing to economic
and community development efforts. She has worked collaboratively to advance strategic
priorities in each of these areas. Her service has contributed to strengthening her community,
advancing public safety, and bringing residents and stakeholders together to explore
sustainable, revenue-generating opportunities.
Ms. Huffman has established a substantial record of nonprofit leadership through service on
boards, committees, and community initiatives focused on education, social justice, and
workforce and training opportunities. Her nonprofit leadership includes chairing fundraising
campaigns, supporting organizations dedicated to social justice, and contributing her leadership
and expertise to community organizations. Most recently, Ms. Huffman served as a member of
the Board of Directors of the Beaumont School high school alma mater.
